Distributor Research - Lionsgate
For our Distributor Company, we started to research into major Distributors and what they could offer if we were to use them. Our first Distributor is called Lionsgate and market all kinds of creative films every single year.
Independent films are fine examples at Lions Gate Entertainment. The firm, which operates as Lionsgate, is a leading producer and distributor of films such as Warrior and the horror title Saw 3D, as well as the most-talked about film of 2012, The Hunger Games. It produces TV content (including Nurse Jackie for Showtime Networks) through Lionsgate Television. Lionsgate also releases films under the Trimark brand, and owns a library of more than 1,300 movie and TV titles that it distributes to retailers, rental shops, and TV channels. In addition, it owns 43% of production studio Roadside Attractions. In 2012 Lionsgate acquired Summit Entertainment, producer of the lucrative Twilight series of movies.
If we use Lionsgate, we will be sure it will go worldwide and have the opportunity to make millions in the market. Also due to its popularity of films which Lionsgate has produced, the company know what will sell and what will crash and burn. (Tc)

Distributor Research - Fox Filmed Entertainment
For our second Distributor, we started to research into Fox Filmed Entertainment. Fox Filmed Entertainment is a global leader in movie production and distribution. Twentieth Century Fox Film is responsible for some of the top grossing movies of all time, including history’s most successful movie, Titanic.
In television production, Twentieth Century Fox Television, together with the Company’s other TV studios, produce and distribute some of the world’s most popular television programming. The Company’s TV studios are leaders in animated series and supply many of the most popular series to each of the major U.S. networks.
If we use Fox Filmed Entertainment as our Distributor, we would gain a huge audience from the TV market due to Fox's huge presence within TV. Fox will also create a huge marketing strategy to go alongside our production, due to its massive well known name around the world. (EB)

We then Decided as a Group to Create our Own
The Reason why we chose to design our own Distribution company, was to achieve maximum creativity within our whole production then can gain some more experience on how Distributors promote themselves.
We decided to go with a very simple but effective video animation of two dice tumbling along the floor. We as a group, thought that keeping the animation simple and smooth will help the audience take in the distributor more fluidly. Here underneath is our final edit of the Distribution Company we have created. (EB, TC, BD, AH)
