Location-
The location we used was in the local area to keep transportation down. We also used a friend's house so we would not tress pass without asking, so we had full permission to film there. It also was on a road which means it was good for filming our opening shots.
The other main reason why we chose to film here is because of the urban environment which again increases the level of realism towards the viewer.
This set was chosen to house our production for another reason that is because it allows more room to set up a variety of camera shots and also it looks like a safe area, but something called always be lurking there.

Typical Zombie Urban Environment-
We decided as a group to film our Zombie themed production in a urban environment because it allows the viewer to relate and feel tense towards the scene, knowing that this same Zombie Infection can happen in their streets. What this does is increase levels of fear and Danger within the filming and the final Production piece.
Props-
The prop that we used was:
-Fake blood (icing sugar type)
The reason why we only used one prop was to emphasise the fact that, the only weapon that is used to kill the victim is the zombies themselves which increases the level of realism within the production.

Casting-
Casting was done in advance to us filming by our whole group and we decided who would undertake each role carefully. We came to a decision that Abigail and Beth would be the two girls, with Abigail being the main girl (victim) and Beth the girl who turns into the zombie. We chose these two roles for them because they best suited the part and are both good at acting.
We feel that after looking back at the footage we have filmed that it was a good choice choosing these two for those roles. Choosing these roles were important because they can reflect the realism of the acting which can effect the viewing experience from the audience. (TC, EB, BD, AH)
