Lighting
The lighting that we used was mostly low key to keep a creepy atmosphere and to make the zombies more scary because you cannot see them very well. Low key lighting is a common theme in horror because it makes you look closer into a scene then it's easier to scare the audience when they are focusing on that scene. We also used the lighting as going from high-key lighting to low-key lighting in the same room, gives the impression of where the darkness is in the room and where your attention should be.
An example of what type of lighting we can try, which we can copy within our production of being different types of lighting in the room is shown underneath. (TC)

An example of the low key lighting we used was the lamp in the scene in the living room. This sort of lighting makes it light enough for everything to be seen, but also creates an eerie atmosphere as well because it's not completely bright/dark.
Time of Day Lighting Schedule
We decided to film our production from the times of Dusk changing into night time. We filmed at this time due to that it gives the uncertainty and distorted feel towards the audience. by doing this changing of lighting, forces the audience to adapt and adjust to the changing light of light which leaves them open and vulnerable to being "scared".
